Empoleon with the Mightiest Mark is a rare and formidable Pokémon that cannot normally be encountered in Paldea. It has a special mark on its body that signifies its unrivaled strength and skill. To challenge this Pokémon, you will need to complete the postgame events that follow the main story or join a Tera Raid Battle hosted by a Trainer who has done so. You can only catch this Empoleon once per save data, so make sure you bring your best Pokémon and strategies to the fight!

But that’s not all! During this event, you will also find generous Blissey in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. These Blissey have various Tera Types and will reward you with Tera Shards, Exp. Candies, and other useful items if you defeat them. Tera Shards can be used to change your Pokémon’s Tera Type, which can give them an edge in different situations.

This event will run from Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 3:59 p.m. PST, then again from Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 3:59 p.m. PST. To participate, you will need to download the latest Poké Portal News from the X menu. Then, look for sparkling pillars of light shining from Tera Raid crystals and interact with them to start a Tera Raid Battle.
